TC1
Performance Analysis: Good press formability. Various forms of welding are possible, with good weldability. Machinability is the same as commercially pure titanium. Good oxidation resistance.
Working Environment: Parts operating below 400℃. Suitable for various sheet materials, stamping, and welded parts.
TC2
Performance Analysis: At 350℃, the creep strength after 100 hours is above 400 MPa, and the hot working has good plasticity. Heating to 350-400℃ does not show a tendency to embrittle, therefore, it can be used to weld parts working at high temperatures.
Working Environment: Parts operating below 500℃, welded parts, die-forged parts, and bent parts, etc.
TC4
Performance Analysis: Poor press formability, good hot plasticity. Various forms of welding are possible, and the weld joint strength can reach 90% of the base metal strength. The mechanical processing performance is good, requiring the use of cemented carbide, large feed rate, slow speed, and sufficient cooling. Good corrosion resistance and good thermal stability. It is one of the most widely used titanium alloys.
Working Environment: Parts for long-term operation below 400℃.
TC5
Performance Analysis: Stable below 350℃, plasticity decreases at higher temperatures. Forging and stamping can be performed in the hot state.
Working Environment: Parts operating below 350℃.
TC9
Performance Analysis: Good hot plasticity. Machinability is the same as T alloy. High corrosion resistance. Good thermal stability.
Working Environment: Parts for long-term operation below 400℃. Compressor disks and blades can be manufactured.
TC10
Performance Analysis: Poor press formability, good hot plasticity. Various forms of welding are possible, and the weld joint strength can reach 90% of the base metal strength. Mechanical processing performance is the same as T alloy. Good corrosion resistance. Good thermal stability, significant heat treatment effect, good hardenability.
Working Environment: Long-term operation below 450℃.
TA6
Performance Analysis: It has good welding performance and high creep strength, but the process plasticity is relatively low. It can be deformed in the hot state. When the alloy is subjected to axial load, it is not sensitive to notches, and the cutting performance is good.
Working Environment: Parts and welded parts operating below 400℃.
TA7
Performance Analysis: Poor press formability, good hot plasticity. Various forms of welding are possible, with good performance, and the weld joint strength and plasticity can be equal to the base metal. Machinability is the same as commercially pure titanium. Good corrosion resistance and good high-temperature thermal stability.
Working Environment: Structural components for long-term operation below 500℃, various die-forged parts can be made.
TA8
Performance Analysis: Good hot plasticity. Various forms of welding are possible, with good weldability. Machinability is the same as commercially pure titanium. Good oxidation resistance.
Working Environment: Parts for long-term operation below 500℃. Engine compressor disks and blades can be manufactured.
